Many artists work in series (or themes) because it gives them focus as to the content of their work. I am no different, and sometimes I’m fortunate to come upon a series which give many opportunities for expression. Similarly, a specific exhibit comes along which allows focus in contrast to the oft-heard lament, “I don’t know what to paint!”
